Experience from biotech, diagnostics, medical devices and pharmaceuticals industry. Strong international and intercultural background - have lived and worked in Sweden, the Netherlands, USA, Belgium and Germany. . Today active as advisor to the life industry with board positions in several biotech start ups.

Axel Broms has a M.Eng. from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Stockholm. He was VP of the Life Science tool company LKB Produkter AB, Sweden 1980 to 1987. Between 1988 and 2004 he held positions as president and division manger of Rexroth Mecman, a division of Rexroth AG Germany, world leader in industry and factory automation products and systems. Currently he is conducting his own consultant business and holds different board memberships.

Per Norfeldt is a medical doctor specialized in psychiatry, initially with a focus on schizophrenia and psychotic disorders but in later years mainly active in the area of neuropsychiatry and ocd. He has a background in protein chemistry at the Department of Medical and Physiological Chemistry, University of Gothenburg, where he did research on lipoproteins in relation to atherosclerosis. In 2001 he started BIS, a company where he offers his services as an independent consultant in pharmaceutical research and biotechnology. Per Norfeldt is a long-standing adviser to the international investment company Dunross & Co and since 2006 he is a board member of Isogenica Ltd, a Cambridge biotech company with a leading proprietary technology for therapeutic peptide discovery and development.

Owe Orwar is Professor in Physical Chemistry at Chalmers, Sweden. He did his post-doc in the group of Professor Richard N. Zare at Stanford. He is also the Director of Bioelectronics and Bio computing program at Chalmers (MC2) and co-founder of Cellectricon. He has authored and co-authored more than 75 scientific publications. In 1997 he was awarded the Roche Affinity Young Investigators Award and is a Research fellow of Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences.

Hans Hultberg is Global Head of External Relations for Strategic Planning and Business Development at AstraZeneca. Dr. Hultberg was recruited to Astra AB in 1993 as Project Coordinator and later became the Corporate Bioscience Advisor to the Head of Global Discovery. After the merger between Astra and Zeneca through to 2006 he was appointed Head of Global Discovery Alliances. Following his PhD, Dr Hultberg worked at KabiGen with business development focusing on external collaborations following his initial roles as Project Manager and Head of Chemistry. Dr Hultberg received his PhD in Organic Chemistry at Stockholm University where he later also became Associate Professor.

Jakob Lindberg joined Investor Growth Capital Europe (Stockholm) in the beginning of 2006 after working as a consultant for one year. Jakob focuses on investments in life sciences. Prior to joining Investor Growth Capital Europe, Jakob worked at McKinsey & Company. He is the co-founder of Cellectricon AB and was the company’s CEO 2000-2005. Jakob is a licensed Swedish physician with a M.D. degree from the Karolinska Institute and a B.A. in Finance from Stockholm University.

Previously he was at Carnegie Asset Management for 4 years where he raised and managed a global life science fund, mainly investing in privately held companies. In parallel he managed a technology fund during its divestment phase. Prior to this he was Executive VP, R&D at Fresenius Kabi. Earlier he gained extensive experience in drug development as Medical Director at Schering Northern Europe and Project Director CNS products at Astra Arcus. With his previous employer he has made 11 investments, and has a broad experience as a board member. He has a PhD in Pharmacology from the Karolinska Institutet.
